Option 1: Phone hotspot (free, works for basic setups)

Turn on your phone's mobile hotspot and connect your tablet and Mevo cameras to it. This works well for one or two cameras on a good carrier. Requirements:

• You need a plan that includes hotspot data (most modern plans do)
• Minimum 5 Mbps upload for one camera; 10–15 Mbps for multi-camera
• Your phone must stay close to the cameras (<30 feet for reliable WiFi)

Troubleshooting Stream Drops & Common Issues

Problem: Stream keeps dropping every few minutes

Most likely cause: Insufficient upload speed or hotspot throttling.

Problem: Stream shows as live in GameChanger but video is frozen

Most likely cause: Camera has lost WiFi connection to your router/hotspot.

Fix: In Mevo Multicam, check if the camera tile shows a "disconnected" icon. Move the router closer to the camera, or move the camera closer to the router. Keep cameras within 50 feet of the router.

Problem: Mevo Multicam shows cameras but stream won't start

Most likely cause: Incorrect RTMP URL or stream key.

Fix: Go back into GameChanger and copy the RTMP credentials fresh. They can expire if you've been in the menu too long. Paste them into Mevo Multicam again. Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after the values.

Problem: Remote viewers see video but it's very pixelated
